Bryzgalov, Chistov recalled by Anaheim

CINCINNATI, Ohio -- Cincinnati Mighty Ducks goaltender Ilya Bryzgalov and left wing Stanislav Chistov were recalled by the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim on Monday.

Bryzgalov, a second-round pick by Anaheim in 2000, has gone 22-22-6 with a 2.27 goals-against average and .921 save percentage in 52 games with Cincinnati this season. The 6-foot-3, 197-pounder ranks second in the AHL in games, wins, minutes (3,013) and saves (1,337). The 23-year-old native of Togliatti, Russia has appeared in one NHL game, appearing in relief of Steve Shields October 8, 2001 for Anaheim at Toronto, stopping 11-of-12 shots.

Chistov, a first-round pick by Anaheim in 2001, had three goals and seven assists with 33 penalty minutes in 20 games with Cincinnati this season. He has one goal and 16 assists with 18 penalty minutes in 46 games with Anaheim this season. The 20-year-old native of Chelyabinsk, Russia has appeared in 125 career NHL games, recording 13 goals and 34 assists with 72 penalty minutes.
