Bulldogs Score Four Unanswered Goals in Come From Behind Win

HAMILTON - The Hamilton Bulldogs erased a one-goal deficit and scored four unanswered third period goals on their way to a 5-2 victory over the Manitoba Moose in front of 5,372 fans at Copps Coliseum on Monday night.

The Bulldogs continue to lead the AHL's North Division with a record of 35 wins, 20 losses, 10 ties and 4 overtime losses.

Scoring for Hamilton on Monday were Chris Higgins, Eero Somervuori, Tomas Plekanec, Marcel Hossa and Philippe Plante.

The Moose goals came from Fedor Fedorov and Sergei Varlamov.

Bulldogs goaltender Jean-Francois Damphousse up his 15th win by making 18 saves. Alex Auld took the loss for the Moose, despite making 30 saves.

Monday's game marked the fifth time this season the Bulldogs came from behind to win, when trailing after two periods.

The Bulldogs magic point total to clinch a playoff position is now seven points.

The Hamilton Bulldogs next action will take place on Wednesday, March 17th at 7:05 p.m., as the Bulldogs will travel to Cleveland to face the Barons.
