
Bryce Cotton Returns to Austin Spurs

AUSTIN, TX - The Austin Spurs, presented by SWBC, announced today that guard Bryce Cotton will return to the team this week. Cotton played in four games with Austin at the start of the 2015-16 season averaging 22.0 points, 4.5 assists and 2.8 rebounds in 34.8 minutes. In late November, he was signed by the Phoenix Suns making him the third NBA D-League GATORADE Call-Up of the 2015-16 season. He appeared in three games.
Last season, Cotton (6-1, 165, Providence) was named to the All-Rookie First Team and All-NBA D-League Second Team. He played 34 games with Austin where he averaged 22.4 points, 4.7 rebounds and 4.6 assists before signing with the Utah Jazz where he played in 15 games averaging 5.3 points, 1.2 rebounds and 1.0 assists.
Cotton will wear No. 7 for Austin when the team heads to California this week to face Bakersfield on Thursday and Los Angeles on Saturday.
