Brumbaugh Released From Jam

(Bakersfield, Calif.) - The Bakersfield Jam has released forward Keith Brumbaugh due to injury prior to the team's Friday night matchup with the Austin Toros.
Brumbaugh sustained a sprain of the MCL in his left knee during practice. The Jam is hopeful that he will be healthy before the season's end, but no concrete timetable has been established for his return as of this release.
After being acquired from the Sioux Falls Skyforce in a trade for Jared Newson, Brumbaugh had earned the starting small forward position for the Jam. In his seven games with the team (five starts) he averaged 15.9 points, 6.7 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.0 steals, shooting 49.4% from the field and 40.9% from three-point range.
No announcement has been made regarding a replacement for Brumbaugh on the Jam's roster.
