
Brooks Lennon to Miss 6-8 Weeks with Knee Injury

ATLANTA - Atlanta United announced today that defender Brooks Lennon will miss approximately 6-8 weeks after suffering an MCL sprain in his left knee prior to the club's 2-1 loss against Toronto FC on Saturday. Lennon suffered the injury during pre-match warmups when he slipped on a hard rubber surface that surrounds both touchlines at BMO Field.
Atlanta (5-6-4, 19 points) continues its three-game road trip Thursday, June 30 when it plays New York Red Bulls (8 p.m., Bally Sports Southeast, Sports Radio 92-9 The Game, La Mejor).
