BROOKLYN, NY (July 6, 2018) - Jose Medina homered and drove in two runs, including an RBI single in the ninth, but the Brooklyn Cyclones, the Short Season, Class A affiliate of the New York Mets had their late rally fall short in a 5-4 loss to the Aberdeen Ironbirds Friday night at MCU Park in the series finale.

BIG MOMENTS

Jose Medina poked a run-scoring single in the ninth inning, cutting the Ironbirds' lead to 5-4. Medina homered in the first, putting the Cyclones on the board.

Trailing 3-2 in the sixth, Aberdeen's Nick Horvath blasted a two-run home run against Cyclones starter Kyle Wilson to take a 4-3 advantage.
