Brookbank, Hutchinson recalled; Bathe Reassigned

Nashville Predators Executive Vice President/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has recalled defensemen Wade Brookbank and Andrew Hutchinson from the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League. In addition, the Admirals announced that forward Landon Bathe has been reassigned to the Toledo Storm of the ECHL.

Brookbank, 26, (9/29/77) has recorded 38 penalty minutes in nine games with Nashville this season. The Lanigan, Sask. native, who played in four games in his recent conditioning assignment (Dec. 8-15) with the Admirals, has six penalty minutes in six games with Milwaukee.

Hutchinson, 23 (3/24/80), is tied for the lead among Milwaukee defensemen with 11 points (5g-6a-11pts) in 19 games. The 6-2, 204-pound Evanston, Ill. native also ranks second on the Admirals with a +10 rating. He has appeared in two games with the Predators this season.

In five games with the Admirals this season Bathe, 21, has recorded 15 penalty minutes. The Scarbourogh, ME native has picked up an assist and 31 penalty minutes in 12 games with the Storm.

The Admirals take the ice again this Friday, December 19, when they play host to the Chicago Wolves at the Bradley Center at 7 pm. The two teams will complete the home-and-home series on Saturday night in Chicago.
