Canucks recall Fedorov

The Vancouver Canucks today announced they have recalled forward Fedor Fedorov from the Manitoba Moose.

Fedorov leads in scoring so far this season with 11 goals and nine assists for 20 points in 26 games. In that time, he has recorded 36 PIM. His six power play goals are tied for third in the AHL. The 22-year old was recalled by the Canucks back on Nov. 15/03, but failed to see any action.

Fedorov has played 83 games over his career with the Moose, scoring 23 goals and 23 assists for 46 points. He also has 103 penalty minutes. The native of Moscow, Russia has played in seven NHL games in his career with the Vancouver Canucks, recording one assist and four penalty minutes.

Fedorov was drafted by the Vancouver Canucks 66th overall in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft.
