Broncos Select Petr Pavelec in 2023 CHL Import Draft

Swift Current, Sask - With the 24th overall pick in the 2023 CHL Import Draft, the Swift Current Broncos have selected forward Petr Pavelec. Pavelec, 18, spent the 2022-23 season with HC Vítkovice U20, accumulating 13 points (8-5-13) and 49 penalty minutes in 46 games.
"Petr is a 200-foot responsible strong forward with offensive upside. He is a competitive forward with a good motor that will be a great fit for our forward group," said Broncos General Manager, Chad Leslie.
