In round two of the Import Draft at pick #87, the Tigers went to the forward ranks and selected Vasyl Spilka (Liberec, CZE), the 6'2 Czech native posted 45 points (21 goals, 24 assists) in 21 games while playing U17 hockey with Bili Tygri Liberec & then an additional 19 points (6 goals, 13 assists) in 15 games with the Bili Tygri Liberec U20 squad.
Fox added that Spilka has plenty of tools that will make him a successful WHLer.
"Vasyl is a big offensive forward, he's hard to contain and shows strong play around the net."
Bruno & Vasyl will be in attendance at Tigers fall camp & preseason in August & September.
