Brock Hooton Loaned To Albany

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs of the National Hockey League and the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League, today announced that forward Brock Hooton has been loaned to the Albany River Rats of the AHL. This marks the second AHL call-up of the season for Hooton, who leads the Royals with thirty-nine points (14g-25a=39pts) in forty-one games with the team. In early January, Hooton was loaned to the Providence Bruins, where he played two games and scored his first AHL goal in the Bruins' 3-1 win over the Houston Aeros on January 4.

The Royals season long seven game road trip continues tonight (Saturday, February 7 @ 7:00 pm et) when the team returns to Sovereign Bank Arena in Trenton, New Jersey, to take on the Trenton Devils. Saturday's game will be broadcast live on the Royals Radio Network Presented by Transmissions by Arbogast (True Oldies WRAW 1340 am in Reading; and The Ticket WLAN 1390 am in Lancaster), as well as on the internet via webcast hosted by Sportsjuice.com, which can be accessed through the Royals website.
