The Amerks 0-3-0-0 this season and 19-26-4 lifetime against the Ottawa Senators' affiliate.
Amerks Notes: Rochester (16-28-0-4, 36 points), in the middle of a three-game homestand, enters the contest on the heels of a two-game skid after suffering a 2-1 loss to the Rockford IceHogs Wednesday night at The Blue Cross Arena. First-year forward Michal Repik tallied Rochester's lone goal as goaltender Tyler Plante, recently assigned to the Amerks from the Dayton Bombers (ECHL), made 31 saves in his first game between the pipes since November 7th against Manitoba.
With forward Janis Sprukts on loan to the Latvian national team, Repik currently lead Rochester's active roster with 23 points (9+14). Rookie defenseman Jason Garrison has a team-high 19 assists and remains Rochester's top scoring defenseman with 22 points overall, good enough for second best. Fourth-year forward Stefan Meyer has a team-best 11 goals. Michael Duco is first on the team with 107 penalty minutes (PIM), with Tanner Glass a close second at 100 PIM. Goaltender Mike Brodeur, who missed Wednesday night's game due to a minor injury, boasts a 13-5-2 record in 21 games for the Amerks. His 2.16 goals-against average and .931 save percentage currently rank him second among American Hockey League netminders in both goaltending categories, respectively. Further, his two shutouts tie him for fifth in the league.
Binghamton Notes: Binghamton (26-16-4-3, 59 points), playing Game 2 of its current three-game road trip, comes into the matchup the winners in three of its last five after dropping a 4-3 overtime decision to the Hamilton Bulldogs last night at Copps Coliseum. Second-year forward Ilya Zubov paces the Sens' offense with a team-high 24 assists and 36 points, while his plus-seven rating is second best on the team. Former Amerk and current Binghamton captain Denis Hamel has found the back of the net 14 times this season for the team lead. Jeremy Yablonski is first on the team and 11th in the AHL with 130 PIM. Goaltender Jeff Glass is 4-9-2 with a 3.61 goals-against average and .891 save percentage in 16 games for the B-Sens. Binghamton currently holds a fourth place standing in AHL's East Division.

The 6:05 p.m. contest will be carried live on SportsRadio 1280 WHTK, whtk.com and AHL Live as the Amerks look to rebound after suffering a 3-2 setback to the Rampage back on December 9th at the AT&T Center. The Amerks are 8-5-0 all-time against the Phoenix Coyotes' affiliate.
