Bring Your Dog to the Game Next Weekend as Griffins Host First-Ever "Dog Night"

Friday, March 20, 2015 vs. Milwaukee Admirals

Time: 7 p.m. at Van Andel Arena (doors open at 6 p.m.).

'90s Night: Come decked out in your acid-washed jeans, windbreakers and scrunchies as the Griffins feature totally radical music and promotions from the '90s all game long.

$2 Dollar Beers and $2 Hot Dogs: Fans can enjoy $2 hot dogs and $2 domestic drafts from 6-8 p.m., while supplies last.

Fan Design Jersey Auction: Fans can partake in a post-game auction for the second round of fan-designed jerseys, which will be worn during the game. Proceeds will benefit the GVSU Laker Dance Team.

Free Ride Friday on the Rapid: Ride the Rapid to and from any Friday game and enjoy complimentary fare by showing your ticket to the game. Visit ridetherapid.org for schedule information, routes and maps.

College Night: Every Friday, college students can show their ID to purchase an Upper Level ticket for $14 (or $13 in advance at The Zone) and stop by the McFadden's concourse table to receive a free pass to the post-game party at McFadden's. Limit one ticket per ID.

Friday Night Popcorn Pack: Fans can enjoy all of the popcorn they can eat with this special offer that includes four or more upper or lower level tickets and a Griffins popcorn bucket good for unlimited popcorn refills throughout the game! Dog Night: For the first time ever, man's best friend is invited to Van Andel Arena to catch some hockey. Sponsored by Nestlé Purina and Meijer, the event allows owners to bring their dog to the game with the purchase of both a human ticket for $15 and a dog ticket for $5. All dog ticket proceeds will benefit Mackenzie's Animal Sanctuary. For additional details, including a downloadable waiver form for your dog, please visit griffinshockey.com/dognight.

Olate Dogs: Winners of America's Got Talent, the Olate Dogs will perform during the first intermission. A fast-paced dog act full of a variety of circus tricks, the Olate Dogs will dance, flip, slide and jump to music.

FOX Sports Detroit Girls: Angela and Emily of FOX Sports Detroit will be in attendance to promote the game and participate in in-game promotional elements.

Sunday is Fun Day!: Enjoy $1 Pepsi drinks and $1 ice cream from 4-6 p.m.

Post-Game Open Skate: Bring your skates to the rink and take to the ice for the post-game open skate. The final post-game open skate will take place on April 18.

Pepsi Reading Goals: Children with Griff's Reading Goals bookmarks who have completed the required three hours of reading can redeem their bookmark for two free upper level tickets to any one of the following games: March 22; April 1, 4 and 8.

Library Nights: For every Sunday and Wednesday game, fans can present their Grand Rapids Public Library card or Kent District Library card at the Van Andel Arena box office on the night of the game or at The Zone anytime during the store's regular business hours to purchase either an Upper Level ticket for $14 (regularly $16 advance and $19 day of game) or a Lower Level Faceoff ticket for $18 (regularly $20 advance and $23 day of game). Limit four tickets per card per person, subject to availability.

Advance ticket prices are $16, $18, $19 and $21 in the arena's upper level, and $20, $24, $29 and $35 in the lower level. (Additional $3 per ticket on day of game.) On game night, tickets may be purchased without a convenience charge at the Van Andel Arena box office, beginning 90 minutes before game time. Fans who attend multiple games can avoid charges and receive a discount from the single-game price by purchasing a 10- or 20-game ticket plan.

MOS Corner Office: Presented by Michigan Office Solutions, this section, located on the terrace level above section 118, provides the best seats in the house for groups of up to 30 people, with La-Z-Boy chairs and an array of unprecedented amenities. Call (616) 774-4585.

Military Nights: Every home game, current members of our military can purchase up to four Upper Level tickets for $14 each or four Lower Level Faceboff tickets for $18 each with a valid military ID. The offer also extends to veterans who present a VA ID or discharge papers.

Fox Motors Fast Lane: Fox Motors Fast Lane grants the owner of a Fox Motors vehicle the ability to bypass normal ticket lines on game nights by showing their keychain at the designated Fox Motors Fast Lane ticket window, located at Van Andel Arena's main box office. Once presented, the keychain owner may purchase their tickets, subject to availability, at the window and proceed into the game.
