He recently completed his junior season, collecting 23 points (6G, 17A), 16 penalty minutes, and a +4 plus/minus rating in 34 games. His five power-play tallies were tied for second-most among NCAA defensemen.

The 21-year-old has compiled 66 points (17G, 49A) and 55 penalty minutes in 104 collegiate games since joining the Nanooks as a freshman in 2012. He posted career numbers last season with seven goals, 19 assists, and a +15 plus/minus rating in 37 games, leading WCHA defensemen and tied for fourth on the team in points. He was named a NCAA Second Team All-American, WCHA Defensive Player of the Year, First Team All-WCHA, and WCHA All-Academic Team. He was also honored with UAF's Shawn Chambers Top Defenseman award, Top Playoff Performer Award, and Fan's Choice Award.

The St. Albert, Alberta, native was selected by the St. Louis Blues with their fourth selection, 86th overall, in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.

The Wolves return to Allstate Arena at 7 p.m. Saturday for a rematch with Utica before hosting Rockford at 3 p.m. Sunday for the final Illinois Lottery Cup game in Rosemont this season.
