
Brimanis Parssinen Assigned by Anaheim

CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Cincinnati Mighty Ducks were assigned defenseman Aris Brimanis and left wing Timo Parssinen by the NHL Mighty Ducks of Anaheim on Monday.
Brimanis was recalled from Cincinnati on April 4 and played in three games for Anaheim, going scoreless with seven penalty minutes. The 30-year-old Brimanis had two goals and nine assists with 44 penalty minutes in 72 games with Cincinnati this season.
Parssinen, 25, played in 17 games with Anaheim this season, recording three assists with two penalty minutes. In 49 games with Cincinnati, Parssinen scored 14 goals and added 24 assists.
Both players are expected to be in the lineup when Cincinnati begins its best-of-three playoff series at Chicago on Tuesday.
