
Kwiatkowski Added to Ottawa's Blueline

Grand Rapids, MI - The Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League on Monday announced that the Ottawa Senators have recalled defenseman Joel Kwiatkowski.
Kwiatkowski, 25, earns his third recall of the season to Canada's capital. In 11 games with the Senators, he has averaged nearly 14 minutes of ice time per game while registering 12 penalty minutes and a plus-five rating.
This season, the Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, native paced all Grand Rapids blueliners with eight goals and ranked second with 21 helpers. In the Griffins' final four-game road trip last week, Kwiatkowski notched six assists and a plus-seven rating, earning him a nomination for AHL Player of the Week.
He will be available for the Senators when they visit the Montreal Canadiens on Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m.
