
Brigley sparks Ducks to win over Lock Monsters

CINCINNATI, Ohio - Travis Brigley scored a pair of goals to lead the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks to a 4-1 victory over the Lowell Lock Monsters Friday at Cincinnati Gardens.
Brian Gornick and Cam Severson also collected goals and Ilja Bryzgalov made 23 saves for the Ducks, who have won four straight on the heels of a six-game winless streak.
Jeff Daw scored the only goal for the Lock Monsters, who fell to 2-8-1-2 in their last 13 games.
Patrick DesRochers was burned for all four goals on 27 shots for Lowell, which suffered its league-leading 40th loss.
Cincinnati, which has outscored its opponents 18-8 in its last four games, improved to 4-0-0-1 all-time against Lowell at home.
The Ducks host the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins Saturday at 7:35 p.m. at Cincinnati.
