BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (January 27, 20 17 ) - The Bridgeport Sound Tigers (23-15-1-1) head into their final weekend before the All-Star break on a season-best five-game win streak, dating back to Jan. 15. The Sound Tigers have won each of those games by two goals or less including a 1-0 overtime victory against the Providence Bruins in their last outing on Wednesday. Ryan Pulock scored the only goal at 4:29 of the extra frame, while Jaroslav Halak made 22 saves for his first AHL shutout since Dec. 31, 2007. It was just the second time Bridgeport has won a 1-0 game in overtime in franchise history. Tonight, the club goes for its first six-game win streak since it won eight straight games from Jan. 20, 2016 - Feb. 13, 2016. The Sound Tigers host the Hartford Wolf Pack (15-24-3-1) this evening and the Lehigh Valley Phantoms (28-11-2-0) on Saturday.
