Coyotes Assign Fischer to Tucson

GLENDALE, ARIZONA - Arizona Coyotes General Manager John Chayka announced today that the Coyotes have assigned forward Christian Fischer to the Tucson Roadrunners, the club's American Hockey League affiliate (AHL).

Fischer will represent the Roadrunners at the 2017 AHL All-Star game in Lehigh Valley, PA on Monday night along with defenseman Kyle Wood.

The 19-year-old Fischer scored two goals in three games with the Coyotes and became the first player in franchise history to score a goal in each of his first two career NHL games. The 6-foot-2, 214-pound native of Chicago, Illinois has registered 16-16-32 and 22 penalty minutes (PIM) in 31 games with the Roadrunners this season.

Fischer was originally drafted by the Coyotes in the second round (32nd overall) in the 2015 Entry Draft.
