
Brian Slocum Activated off Bisons DL

The Buffalo Bisons today announced that RHP Brian Slocum has been activated off the disabled list. He will get the start tonight for the Herd against the Durham Bulls at 7:05 p.m. at Dunn Tire Park.
To make room on the roster, LHP Jason Stanford was placed on the disabled list today.
Slocum, 25, began the season in the Bisons bullpen and went 0-0 with a 1.93ERA and one save in five appearances (9.1IP, 5H, 2R, 2ER, 1BB, 11K) before being recalled to the Cleveland Indians on April 21. In his first Major League stint, Slocum went 0-0 with a 7.71ERA in five games with the Tribe (4.2IP, 5H, 4R, 4ER, 5B, 4K). He was then optioned back to the Bisons on May 2 and made four appearances (1.50ERA, 6.0IP, 3H, 1R, 1ER, 4BB, 5K) before being placed on the disabled list on May 15.
Stanford, 29, has made 10 starts with the Bisons this season. He is 2-4 with a 5.10ERA (47.2IP, 45H, 29R, 27ER, 21BB, 38K).
