Brett Findlay Recalled by Marlies for First Time in 2016-17

ORLANDO, Fla. - The Orlando Solar Bears have announced that forward Brett Findlay has been recalled by the Toronto Marlies, Orlando's American Hockey League affiliate.
Findlay, 24, leads the Solar Bears with 33 points (10g-23a) and 40 penalty minutes in 29 games this season. The forward was assigned by Toronto to Orlando on Oct. 13 for his third season with the Solar Bears, where he has 95 points (38g-57a) and 110 penalty minutes in 96 games. In 54 career games with the Marlies, Findlay has posted 21 points (7g-14a) and 18 penalty minutes.
The Echo Bay, Ontario native has 173 points (67g-106a) and 161 penalty minutes in 225 career professional games.
The Solar Bears continue their fifth season of ECHL hockey when they return from their holiday break and host the Florida Everblades in a Wawa Sunshine Cup Series game on Tuesday, Dec. 27 at 7 p.m. at the ARS.com Rink at Amway Center.
