Allen, TX (12/23/16) -Steelheads Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Neil Graham announced on Friday afternoon that defenseman Joe Faust has been returned to the Steelheads from the American Hockey League's Texas Stars. Faust will be available for the Steelheads' game Friday night against the Allen Americans.

Faust, 25, signed a professional tryout agreement with the Texas Stars on December 20th and played two games with the Stars this week. Faust collected two penalty minutes in the two contests.

The Steelheads will finish their two-game visit to Allen Event Center on Friday night, with puck-drop scheduled for 6:05pm MT. Games can be heard on 1350 KTIK or streamed online with ECHLTV.
