Rome, GA - The Rome Braves were defeated by the Augusta GreenJackets Monday evening at State Mutual Stadium 4-0 before a crowd of 1,492. Augusta scored all the runs of the game in the fourth inning. Johneshwy Fargas scored the first run on a sacrifice fly by Aramis Garcia, Jonah Arenado and Jared Deacon each had RBI singles, and Will Callaway added an RBI triple giving the GreenJackets the 4-0 lead. Augusta pitching held Rome to five hits in the game, walking one and striking out six en route to the win.

Mark Reyes (3-3) gets the victory for Augusta while Oriel Caicedo (2-3) is charged with the loss. Raymundo Montero (6) earns the save.
