
Brassart Leads Hitmen over Warriors 6-4

Moose Jaw, SK - Brady Brassart scored twice and was plus five as the Calgary Hitmen extended their winning streak to five games with a 6-4 victory over the Moose Jaw Warriors Wednesday night at Mosaic Place.
Jesse Zgraggen, with his first goal as a Hitmen, Brooks Macek, Alex Roach and Cody Sylvester also found the back of the net for Calgary who has now scored 34 goals in their last five games.
Both Sylvester (1g 2a) and Macek (1g 2a) had three points each with Sylvester extending his point scoring streak to seven games.
The Hitmen, playing their second game in as many nights, never trailed building period leads of 2-1 and 4-3.
Calgary, now 29-10-1-3, improves to 62 points to lead the WHL's Eastern Conference by three points over the Edmonton Oil Kings.
The Hitmen will enjoy a day off Thursday before wrapping up their four game road trip with stops in Regina Friday and Swift Current Sunday.
Next Hitmen home game is Friday, January 18th against the Prince George Cougars. Game time is 7:00 p.m. Scotiabank Saddledome.
