
Giants Lose 7-4 to the Hurricanes

LETHBRIDGE, AB - The Lethbridge Hurricanes scored 5 goals in the first period en route to a 7-4 win over the Vancouver Giants in Lethbridge Wednesday night.
Jaimen Yakubowski scored twice for the Hurricanes in the third period to secure the win for Lethbridge.
The Giants had a strong second period, cutting Lethbridge's lead to 5-4, but that wasn't enough.
Luca Leone scored his first ever WHL goal and Travis McEvoy scored his first of the season. Jackson Houck and Anthony Ast got the other two goals for Vancouver.
Jared Rathjen faced 31 shots in net for the Giants.
Vancouver went 2-for-3 on the power play and out shot the Hurricanes 32-31.
