Oakes to Make WHL Debut Tonight

Kamloops, BC - The Kamloops Blazers have called up 17-year-old forward Devin Oakes from the Kamloops Storm of the KIJHL for tonight's home game against the Tri-City Americans.

Oakes was listed by the Blazers in July 2010. The 6'1" 207lb forward was unable to compete in the exhibition season or training camp due to off-season surgery.

With the Storm this season, Oakes has eight goals and 21 points in 30 games. Oakes will wear #23 tonight.
