
Brahmas lose in shootout to Kings

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, Texas - The Brahmas return home tonight with one point in two games in Mississippi as they lost 4-3 in a shootout.
Texas was led by Jordan Cameron at the DeSoto Civic Center, scoring a shorthanded goal and an assist. The shortie was Texas' sixth of the year. Other scorers for the Brahmas were Tyler Skworchinski and Pete Rouleau. Texas went 1-for-7 on the powerplay.
In the shootout, the Brahmas were unable to solve RiverKings netminder Kevin Beech, going 0-for-5. With the loss, Brahmas goaltender Brett Jaeger goes to 9-4-2 for the season.
The Brahmas will continue on their longest road trip of the season next week traveling to Arizona to take on the CHL reigning champs, Arizona Sundogs three times in four nights. This will be the first match up between the two teams in franchise history.
