Lincoln Stars News Release
Lincoln, Neb. - Stars forward Adam Brady has committed to Bemidji State University, he announced on Wednesday.
"I chose Bemidji because of the excellent hockey program with deep history and state of the art facilities," Brady said. "I look forward to my collegiate hockey career and maturing as a person and player with the Beavers."
Brady had 9 goals and 15 assists through 27 games with the Stars prior to sustaining injuries in a mid-season car accident. He is rehabilitating and is targeted to play for Bemidji next season.
"Lincoln provided a vital stepping stone in my hockey career not only as a player but as a person as well," Brady said.
Brady rejoined the Stars in late March to further his recovery with Athletic Trainer Corey Courtney.
"With all Adam has gone through this season...to see him come to the rink and train everyday and have a positive outlook is inspiring," Stars General Manager Jon Hull said. "We couldn't be happier for Adam. He embodies what it means to be a Star."
Bemidji State has made the NCAA Tournament four times and has one visit to the Frozen Four. The Beavers are members of the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA).
Brady had 77 points in 46 games with the Kingston Voyagers of the OJHL during the 2014-2015 season.
