Sioux Falls, SD - The United States Hockey League (USHL) announced Wednesday that Stampede forward Parker Tuomie (pronounced Too-Me) and goaltender Stefanos Lekkas (Steff-ah-nos Lekk-IS) have been named to the All-USHL Third Team as voted on by USHL General Managers.

Tuomie was the Stampede's leading scorer during the regular season, posting 54 points in 59 games, 11th overall in the league. He also led the team in goals scored (30) and was third on the team in assists (24). The Hassfurt, Germany native tallied 25 points in his first 18 games of the season and finished the year tallying at least a point in 12 of his last 15 games. He finished his Stampede career appearing in 111 games and tallying 88 points on 49 goals and 39 assists. Tuomie was a part of the Stampede's Clark Cup championship team in 2014-15. The forward will attend Minnesota State, Mankato in the fall.

Lekkas was named team MVP after going 25-15-2 and posting a 2.53 GAA and a .924 save percentage and two shutouts in 45 appearances. From February 1st to the second to last game of the regular season, Lekkas went 14-2-1 with one shutout, a 2.03 goals against average (GAA) and a .939 save percentage to help guide the Stampede from seventh place to the Clark Cup playoffs. His 1,468 saves during the regular season ranked second all-time amongst Stampede goaltenders.

The Elburn, IL native played a key role in the Stampede's Clark Cup championship when he went 9-3-0 with a 2.10 GAA and a .932 save percentage in the postseason. In two seasons with the Herd, Lekkas posted 48 wins with a 2.50 GAA and a .918 save percentage. He will attend the University of Vermont this fall.

The Stampede coaching staff is currently preparing for Stampede tryout camp, June 10-13 at the Scheels IcePlex. The camp will be free and open to the public. A complete schedule will be released at a later date.
