Following up his first year with the team, Davies also leads the Thunder all-time with 69 points (16g, 53a).

As one of four iron men on the Thunder roster to play in every game this season, Davies was key to the Thunder's success. Standing at 5-foot-11, he helped the Thunder to their best record of 36-18-4-1 and their first playoff berth in team history. With the number one power play in the league, the Northeastern commit put up a league high 24 assists on the man advantage. He was also second only to Player of the Year Rem Pitlick (University of Minnesota) for points on the power play. He also led all defenseman in shots on net by nearly 40 more than Mattias Goransson (University of Massachusetts-Lowell).

Davies, 19, was named CCM Defenseman of the Week three times this season, more than any other player on the Thunder roster. In the final 33 games of the season, Davies had his hand in the scoring for 25 games. The Montreal, QC native had 10 points over five games from March 17-26 to help his team clinch playoffs and his longest point streak of the season reached eight games from January 2-23. He also reached a career high of three points in a game on two separate occasions in those stretches. Davies scored a goal and two assists against the Des Moines Buccaneers on January 18, and three helpers against the Madison Capitols on March 26.

Davies played in 11 games for the Waterloo Black Hawks before being brought over to the Twin Cities for 103 career games in the blue and green. Before the USHL, Davies was with the Lac Saint-Louis Lions near Montreal where he wrapped up his youth hockey career. He was drafted by the Black Hawks in the 13th round of the 2014 USHL Phase II selection process.
