BLOOMINGTON, Illinois - The BloomingtonThunder, in connection with the United States Hockey League, are pleased toannounce the release of their 2016 Home Opener. The season will kick off forthe Central Illinois USHL program on Saturday, September 24 when they drop thepuck at 7 p.m. with the Muskegon Lumberjacks. The announcement comes Tuesdaymorning as the league wide opener schedule becomes public.

TheThunder hope to improve on an immensely successful 2015-16 campaign. The teamwas one win shy of the Clark Cup Final and produced an impressive post seasonrun, knocking off the Anderson Cup Champion Cedar Rapids RoughRiders in theEastern Conference Semifinal. Now entering their third season with a crop ofreturners and newcomers, fronted by captain Tarek Baker (University of Wisconsin) the Thunder have their sightsset even higher.

Seasonticket and partial ticket packages are available for purchase through theThunder front office. Head to our season ticket page for all the informationand benefits on our different packages to find one that fits for you. Get avoucher pack and have the flexibility to pick and choose your dates with nostrings attached. Individual ticket sales will be released at a later date.
