Lumberjacks Set for 2016-2017 Home Opener

MUSKEGON, MI - The Muskegon Lumberjacks are excited to announce that they will open their 2016-2017 home schedule Saturday, October 1st against the United States National Team Developmental U18 Program.

Following a big summer where Rem Pitlick, Matthew Cairns, and Collin Adams were drafted into the NHL, the tendering of Russian forward Andrei Svechnikov, and the hire of new Head Coach John LaFontaine, the Muskegon Lumberjacks are excited to bring fantastic hockey back to the L.C. Walker Arena.

The Lumberjacks will battle with the U18 Program that brings in 14 players named the NHL Central Scouting Service future prospects list for the 2017 NHL Draft. Joseph Cassetti and Scott Reedy highlight the United States U18 Program heading into the 2016-2017 season.
