Port Charlotte, FL - The Marauders (13-11) closed April with a winning record by topping the Stone Crabs ( 9-14) 4-2 at Charlotte Sports Park on Sunday afternoon. RHP Mitch Keller (W, 2-1) fired seven scoreless innings and struck out nine for the win. The Marauders did most of their scoring in the second inning. RF Jerrick Suiter led off with a double to right field. 1B Danny Arribas brought in Suiter with a one-out triple, then scored on a single by CF Alfredo Reyes. Reyes swiped second and scored on a two-out knock by SS Cole Tucker. 2B Mitchell Tolman added an RBI single in the fourth. RHP Bret Helton got the final six outs while surrendering two runs. UP NEXT: The Marauders open a seven game home stand with a game against the St. Lucie Mets...First pitch is scheduled for 6:30 p.m...
