
Brad Snyder Placed on Disabled List

The Buffalo Bisons today announced that OF Brad Snyder has been placed on the disabled list with a broken right thumb, retroactive to July 28. LHP Cliff Lee will take his spot on the active roster.
Lee is expected to start for the Herd tonight as they face the Syracuse Chiefs from Alliance Bank Stadium (7:00 p.m.).
Snyder injured his thumb sliding to break up a doubleplay in the third inning of Friday night's 5-2 win over Charlotte. He has hit .263 (68-259) with 10 home runs and 35RBI in 86 games this year. He is also a perfect 12-12 stealing bases.
Lee was optioned to the Bisons from Cleveland on Friday. He is 0-0 with a 4.50ERA in one start with Buffalo this year. He was 5-8 with a 6.38ERA in 16 games with the Tribe.
