Schaumburg Boomers News Release
SCHAUMBURG, Ill. - The Schaumburg Boomers, presented by Wintrust Community Banks, were shut out for the eighth time this season, dropping a 4-0 contest to the Evansville Otters in the opener of a weekend series.
Evansville grabbed a 2-0 lead in the top of the second against All-Star Kagen Hopkins. Hopkins twirled a quality start by allowing just two earned runs in six innings of work.
