
Bombers prepare for CFL Draft

WINNIPEG, MB - Winnipeg Blue Bombers head coach Doug Berry and Canadian college draft coordinator Bob Dyce will be available to meet with the media in the Bomber Board Room at Canad Inns Stadium following the conclusion of the 2007 CFL CANADIAN DRAFT.
The 2007 CFL Canadian Draft will take place WEDNESDAY, MAY 2 beginning at 12 noon (C.T.).
Members of the media and Bomber fans can follow this year's CFL Canadian Draft live on www.cfl.ca as Duane Forde of The Score and Mike Hogan of The Fan 590 will co-host the proceedings. The webcast will feature visuals of selected players, interviews with GMs and coaches and analysis by Forde and Hogan.
The media can also listen live to the CFL Canadian Draft live by calling either (877) 323-2011 or (416) 695-9705 (Reference: CFL). Members of the media can listen live to the audio portion of the CFL Canadian Draft in the Bomber Board Room beginning at 12 noon.
The Blue Bombers have four selections in this year's draft - 11th overall (2nd round), 22nd overall (3rd round), 34th overall (fifth round) and 43rd overall (sixth round).
The Blue & Gold had four selections in last year's CFL Canadian Draft including receiver Arjei Franklin (3rd round, 19th overall), offensive lineman Dominic Picard (3rd round, 23rd overall), running back David Stevens (5th round, 36th overall) and defensive end Dexter Ross (6th round, 49th overall).
