Toronto Argonauts News Release

Toronto - With less than 400 seats left in the upper bowl of Rogers Centre for the Grey Cup game in November, fans looking to purchase the cheapest seats in the house need to act now to avoid disappointment.

Brad Watters, General Manager, Grey Cup 2007, commented, "The demand for the upper bowl seats has surprised everyone. The less expensive tickets are traditionally the last to go but this has not been the case in Toronto. We are thrilled by the pace of sales for this game as football fans are as excited as we are about the return of Canada's game to Toronto for the first time in 15 years."

Tourism Toronto has saved some of the best seats for Grey Cup 2007 for out of town guests. Fans can purchase the tickets through Tourism Toronto with special discounts on hotels, event tickets and VIA Rail travel. For more information on these travel deals, please call Tourism Toronto at 1-800-499-2514 or check the packages online at www.torontotourism.com.

Andrew Weir, Vice-President, Communications for Tourism Toronto, remarked, "With flexible and affordable travel packages, Toronto is inviting fans from across Canada to join the celebration for what is sure to be the year's biggest week-long national party."

The Toronto Argonauts home opener on June 28 will have a special Grey Cup theme to show fans a bit of what's to come in November. Tickets for the Grey Cup are available at Ticketmaster at (416) 872-5000 or at www.ticketmaster.ca.

An annual tradition celebrated by Canadians from coast-to-coast since 1909, the Grey Cup is Canada's largest professional sporting event. In addition to the thousands filling Rogers Centre on Sunday, November 25, the Grey Cup will be watched by millions of fans across Canada on CBC and RDS and in more than 160 countries around the globe. Toronto last hosted the Grey Cup in 1992 when Calgary defeated Winnipeg 24-10.
