
Toronto Argonauts Ready For Draft

Mississauga - The 2007 CFL Canadian Draft will kickoff tomorrow afternoon and the Toronto Argonauts are ready. The draft is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday, May 2, 2007.
The Argonauts currently have four picks in the six-round affair including two in the fourth round (29th & 30th overall), one in the fifth round (37th overall) and one in the 6th round (45th overall). The Argos dealt their second round pick to Edmonton earlier this year in exchange for non-import guard Glen Carson then sent their first round and third round picks to Calgary in an April trade that brought OG Taylor Robertson to Toronto.
Media and fans are invited to watch the draft via live webcast at CFL.ca. New Argos' radio play-by-play man Mike Hogan from THE FAN 590 and Argo alum and The Score's CFL analyst Duane Forde will bring all of the coverage in a format new to the Canadian Draft.
The Toronto Argonauts will be holding a media availability with Argonauts GM/Vice President, Football Operations Adam Rita and Assistant GM/Director, Player Personnel Greg Mohns immediately following the 2007 Canadian Draft. Here are the details:
