January 14, 2004 - ECHL (ECHL)
Dayton Bombers News Release

The Dayton Bombers have announced the acquisition of 2003 ECHL All Star Defenseman Grady Moore from the Toledo Storm in exchange for the rights to defenseman Tom Nemeth. Moore, who played his college hockey at Bowling Green State University, completed a successful rookie season with Toledo in 2002-2003, accumulating 47 points (7 goals, 40 assists) in 65 games during the campaign. His point total was ninth among ECHL defenseman and third overall on the Storm.

The 5-11, 180 LB, Castlegar, British Columbia native's 40 assists led all Storm players and he was one of two Toledo players selected to the 2003 Northern Conference All-Star squad. He also made it to the ECHL's All-Rookie Team.

"The opportunity to add a young, skilled defenseman like Grady will improve our club," said Head Coach/G.M. of Hockey Operations Jamie Ling. "He is a good, puck-moving blueliner who should help our power play and be strong in other situations as well. Though you have to give to get somebody, we feel as if Grady is a great addition to our team who will only get better."

Ridolfi, 32, makes another return to the Bombers after spending the early part of this season with the now-defunct Columbus Stars of the United Hockey League (UHL). With the Stars, Ridolfi had six goals and eight assists in 34 games. From 1996-2000, Ridolfi, a native of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, wore a Dayton Bombers' sweater, tallying 90 goals and 115 assists in 261 games played. His finest season as a professional was the 1997-1998 campaign in which he scored 34 goals and added 36 assists in 67 games played. He also earned a two game stint with the IHL's Michigan K-Wings that season. Ridolfi made a brief return to the Bombers in 2002-2003 and scored one goal in seven games with the team.
