Battle Creek, Mich. - The Battle Creek Bombers (2-6) used seven singles, seven walks, and six shutout innings from Keegan Yuhl (W, 1-1) to take the opening game of a two game set with the La Crosse Loggers (4-3) 4-0 on Wednesday night.

Yuhl struck out five and allowed just three hits in his six innings of work. Ethan Bramschreiber, Kellen Urbon, and Gabe Berman each tossed scoreless innings in relief to lock down the win.
