
Bobby Wilson to Rehab with Bees

SALT LAKE CITY (June 16, 2012) - The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim announced today that catcher Bobby Wilson will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Salt Lake in tonight's home game against the Fresno Grizzlies at 7:05 p.m. Wilson is expected to appear in two games for the Bees.
Wilson, 29, was placed on the 7-day Disabled List after suffering a concussion from a foul tip to his catcher's mask on June 4. In 32 games for the Angels this season, he owns a .171 batting average with one RBI. Wilson has played in 176 games over four seasons for Salt Lake, hitting .291 with 52 doubles and 125 RBI. His last appearance with the Bees was in 2010.
The Salt Lake Bees continue a four-game homestand tonight against the Fresno Grizzlies at 7:05 p.m. A fireworks show will take place following tonight's game. 2012 Bees season tickets are on sale now with prices starting at just $432 per person.
