Boardwalk Bullies Acquire Forward From Bandits

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – The Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies of the East Coast Hockey League acquired forward Ryan Mougenel from the Jackson Bandits in exchange for defenseman Tyler Johnston and future considerations, it was announced today by Bullies head coach and director of hockey operations Mike Haviland. The 6-1, 195-pound right wing played the last two seasons in Jackson, tallying 21 points on 11 goals and 10 assists in 48 games last year and 34 points on 15 goals and 19 assists in 57 games during the 2001-02 season.

The native of Scarborough, Ont., split the 1999-00 with the Canadian National Team and the Rochester Americans in the American Hockey League.

Johnston played 40 games with the Bullies last year, contributing eight points (1G,7A). He played 11 games with the Reading Royals before being traded to the Bullies.
