Everblades Open Training Camp October 1st

Estero, FL - The Florida Everblades will open their 2002 Training Camp on Tuesday, October 1st at 11:30 AM. The entire training camp schedule is listed below. Florida will play two preseason games against the Columbus Cottonmouths at TECO Arena on October 4th and 5th. The puck drops at 7:30 PM for both contests. Tickets for both games can be obtained at the TECO Arena Box office, at all Ticketmaster outlets or by phone at (239) 334-3309.
Last season, the Everblades qualified for their fourth straight Kelly Cup playoff appearance and fell in the second round to the eventual Kelly Cup Champion Greenville Grrrowl. The Everblades defeated the South Carolina Stingrays 3-2 in a one game wild card playoff game at South Carolina to advance to the Southeast Divisional Semifinal series. The Everblades qualified for the playoffs on the last game of the regular season after defeating the Augusta Lynx 2-1 in a shootout. Florida opens the regular season in Augusta on October 11th and plays six straight road contests before returning home on October 25 & 26 to begin their home schedule.
