Blues Assign Two Players to Tulsa from Rampage

SAN ANTONIO, TX - San Antonio Rampage General Manager Kevin McDonald confirmed on Tuesday that the St. Louis Blues have reassigned rookie forwards Austin Poganski and Tanner Kaspick from the Rampage to the Tulsa Oilers of the ECHL.

Poganski, 22, was a fourth-round draft pick for the Blues in 2014 and has appeared in five games with the Rampage this season. A St. Cloud, Minnesota native and former captain at the University of North Dakota, Poganski also appeared in four games with the Rampage last season and scored his first professional goal, along with an assist.

Kaspick, 20, played in three games with the Rampage this season. A fourth-round pick for St. Louis in 2016 and a Brandon, Manitoba native, he made his professional debut and scored his first professional goal on October 19th in Winnipeg against the Manitoba Moose.

The Oilers roster now lists four players who began the season in San Antonio, as Poganski and Kaspick join Jared Thomas and Stephen Perfetto.

The Rampage begin a four-game road trip on Friday when they face the San Jose Barracuda at SAP Center. Puck drop is scheduled for 9 p.m. CT, with the game available on The Ticket 760AM and on AHLTV.
