Syracuse Crunch Sign Nolan Valleau to PTO

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Syracuse Crunch have signed defenseman Nolan Valleau to a professional tryout contract, general manager Julien BriseBois announced today.

Valleau, 25, has skated in seven games with the Orlando Solar Bears this season posting two goals and two assists along with a plus-6 rating. Last season, the 6-foot-1, 177-pound blueliner appeared in 41 contests with Orlando tallying 34 points (8g, 26a). He also played in 16 AHL games with the Chicago Wolves, Rockford Ice Hogs, Milwaukee Admirals and Utica Comets during the 2017-18 season.

The Novi, Michigan native has appeared in 124 career AHL games recording four goals and 16 assists. Prior to his professional career, Valleau spent one season at Bowling Green State University in 2014-15 registering 19 points (2g, 17a) in 39 games after playing in the USHL with the Des Moines Buccaneers and Chicago Steel in 2012-13.
