Weekly Rewind

Friday, Oct. 26 - PENGUINS 4 vs. Hershey 1

The Penguins came out swinging in their second game of the season against their I-81 rivals, the Hershey Bears. Anthony Angello scored the Pens' first shorthanded goal of the season in the first period, but Adam Johnson stole the show with two goals and an assist.

Saturday, Oct. 27 - PENGUINS 3 at Hershey 4

In a back-and-forth tilt at Giant Center, the Penguins never trailed at any point in the contest but lost in a shootout to the Bears. Tristan Jarry played spectacularly in his second game of the weekend, stopping 35 of 38 shots faced in regulation and overtime.

The Week Ahead

Friday, Nov. 2 - PENGUINS vs. Hartford

Wilkes-Barre/Scranton begins a two-game home series against the Hartford Wolf Pack, starting with the two clubs' first matchup of the season on Friday. Steven Fogarty leads the Pack with nine total points (5G-4A) so far this season.

Saturday, Nov. 3 - PENGUINS vs. Hartford

The Penguins face the Wolf Pack in their second game on Saturday night. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton broke even with Hartford in their six meetings last season as both teams won three times, but the Pens have emerged victorious in six of their last seven showdowns with the Wolf Pack at Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza.

Sunday, Nov. 4 - PENGUINS at Bridgeport

Wilkes-Barre/Scranton travels to Webster Bank Arena for the first time this season to take on the Bridgeport Sound Tigers. The Penguins also split their season series with the Sound Tigers last year, but earned points in all three of their visits to Webster Bank Arena (2-0-1-0).

Ice Chips

- Defenseman Chris Summers had a three-game point streak spanning Oct. 19 - 26, the second three-game point streak of his career and first since January of 2013.

- Adam Johnson had the first three-point game of his career on Oct. 26.

- The Penguins' last four shootout losses have all come on the road. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton has not lost a shootout at home since Nov. 5, 2017 against the Bears.

- Teddy Blueger leads Wilkes-Barre/Scranton with four goals this season and is in a four-way tie for the most goals in the AHL without having recorded an assist this season.
