
Checkers to Host Dia de los Muertos Night on Friday

The Charlotte Checkers today announced that their next home game on Friday, Nov. 2, at 7 p.m. will be their first-ever Dia de los Muertos Night.
As part of the evening's festivities, a special package including a game ticket and a limited-edition t-shirt to honor the traditional Mexican holiday can be purchased online at gocheckers.com/muertos for just $25 while supplies last. An image of the shirt is attached to this release.
Also on Friday, fans can donate four or more cans of food to Loaves and Fishes and receive a free ticket to the Checkers' game on Sunday, Nov. 25, courtesy of Farm Bureau Insurance.
Individual tickets for Friday's game against the Providence Bruins can be purchased now through Ticketmaster or the Bojangles' Coliseum box office. For those who already have game tickets, Dia de los Muertos shirts can be purchased at the game for $25 each.
