
Blues Assign Eight Players to Peoria

St. Louis Blues Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the club has assigned forwards Jonathan Cheechoo, Adam Cracknell, Philip McRae, Anthony Peluso and Brett Sterling, defensemen Ian Cole and Mark Cundari along with goaltender Ben Bishop to the Blues' American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, Peoria Rivermen.
The Blues will open the regular season schedule against the Nashville Predators on Saturday, Oct. 8 at 7 p.m. at Scottrade Center.
