
Bluefish Complete Sweep of Doubleheader with 2-1 Win in Game Two

Bridgeport, CT - The Bridgeport Bluefish (24-31) completed the sweep of the doubleheader against the Somerset Patriots (26-29) with a 2-1 victory in game two Saturday night at Harbor Yard. The Bluefish clinched the series and the Patriots have now lost three games in a row.
In the top of the first inning left fielder Aaron Mathews blooped an RBI single to left field to give the Patriots a 1-0 lead.
In the bottom of the second inning the Bluefish took the lead thanks to a solo home run (4) by third baseman Luis Lopez and an RBI fielder's choice hit by second baseman Norberto Susini.
Paul Oseguera picked up his fifth win of the season as he tossed a complete game. He pitched seven innings and allowed just five hits while striking out six batters. Derell McCall pitched well in a losing effort allowing just two runs in 5.1 innings of work. He suffered his third loss of the season.
The 2012 Somerset Patriots Season presented by Ford will continue on the road until Monday, June 25th when the Patriots return home to take on the Long Island Ducks at TD Bank Ballpark at 7:05 pm.
