BlueClaws Ultimate Baseball Camp

LAKEWOOD N.J. - The BlueClaws Ultimate Baseball Camp has only one session left and registrations are still being accepted. The remaining dates for the camp will be Thursday, July 27 and Friday, July 28. Children ages seven to 16 can register to take part in the camp that will be held on the playing field at FirstEnergy Park, the home of the Lakewood BlueClaws.
Members of the BlueClaws coaching staff and players will be the instructors. Campers will participate in a variety of drills and activities as well as learn about and experience game situations and strategies from these professionals.
Session fees are only $150 for both days of instruction. Also included is a ticket to the BlueClaws game on July 31 against the Greenville Drive, an affiliate of the Boston Red Sox. Every camper will also receive a voucher for a free hot dog at the game and will get a personalized camp T-shirt. There will be an autograph session at the conclusion of the camp on Friday afternoon.

In 2005, the Lakewood BlueClaws were the recipients of Baseball America's Bob Freitas award for overall excellence in Minor League Baseball. The BlueClaws have led the league in attendance every year, topping out at 444,607 in 2005 and became the fastest team in South Atlantic League history to reach the 2 million fan attendance mark.
